While gait trainers can look similar to walkers, pediatric gait trainers provide more specialized support for kids who don’t have the functional skills to walk or the posture control to walk with a walker. Gait trainers come in all shapes, designs, and sizes, but in this blog we’re focusing on gait trainers for kids. There are numerous health benefits to being able to stand, and even more benefits from walking. Pediatric gait trainers help kids who aren’t currently able to stand and/or walk on their own gain the strength (bones and muscles), balance, coordination, and skills to reap t...

Did you know December and January are when gyms sell the most gym memberships? The most popular New Year resolutions are weight loss and to get in shape, and many of us (I know I have tried this) assume that buying the gym membership will be enough motivation. Sometimes it even works, but rarely for very long. Instead, here are some easy ways to get motivated to lose weight (and then stay motivated once you’ve started!): Be nice to yourself. One of the hardest parts is admitting and then deciding to lose weight so congratulate yourself for doing that! The negative records that play in ...

With the holiday season gearing up into full swing, most of us are more concerned about how big of a turkey (and then tree) to get than we are about our flexible spending account through work. Financial experts will tell you that is a big mistake – if you have a medical flexible spending account (FSA) through your employer and you don’t use that money by the end of the year then you’ll lose it. That’s right – use it or lose it. This is also the time of year for open enrollment for employee benefits, so if you haven’t been taking advantage of your ability to save through a FSA...

Everyone loves relaxing in a spa; it could be after a long day, a tough workout, or even for therapeutic use. There are a ton of questions to ask when picking out a spa. How much should I spend? Do I want it to be permanently installed or portable? If it is portable, is it durable? Luckily for you, I have asked those questions, and this is the best portable Spa I’ve found.

The MSPA is a portable spa that can be used by anyone virtually anywhere. Most inflatable spas can be easy to puncture or damage by overfilling or over inflation. Even the surface the spa is placed on can be a hazard to most portable spas. The MSPA uses an internal beam structure that has air chambers which make it much more durable than a normal inflatable spa. A lot of spas have a loud unattractive external pump on the outside of the spa. The M Spa has a sleek design with all the controls built into the unit. This makes the spa quieter and a lot better to look at.

Another thing to consider is cost, not just the initial price, but operating cost as well. You want to make sure you have an efficient spa that won’t send your energy bill through the roof. Houses and spas are similar when it comes to losing heat; they can lose up to 30% of the heat through the lid. If you have a better, more insulated lid, you will use less energy and electricity keeping the water temperature hot. The M Spa has an inflatable lid which attaches to the top and creates an air tight seal.

Another great thing about the MSPA is how easy it is to set up. It can be ready to use in just five (5) minutes which is definitely unlike any other portable spa out there. The M spa has what they call Smart Inflation; just plug it in and press the “BUBBLE” button and your spa will be ready to use shortly.

As far as filtration goes, this spa is much more efficient than most. With a 1700 liter/hr filtration system you can be sure that your spa will be clean and refreshing every time. The jets on this spa are pretty powerful, and really help with back pain. The M Spa has an 800 Watt blower and 128 air jets which pretty much blow any other spa out of the water. There are also 5 powerful jets that can hit virtually any spot you need. The M Spa is available in Blue Sea or Camaro (a sleek black). Both options are a good choice. Basically this is an awesome spa and a must have in your home no matter where you live.
